Towers Trail Renovation

Project goal

It was imperative to repair some of the failing components of infrastructure including a break in their main sewer line under the slab in the basement and removing the stairwell from it’s existing position in the middle of the home. COVID presented a unique challenge with both lead times and price points on many products,  it was a balancing act to stay on target for schedule and budgeting as the project unfolded. Gathering a team of consultants, suppliers and trades that executed the scope of work on budget on time.

This client approached Align as one of a couple renovation companies to price out the execution of a design supplied by a local drafting company. This beautiful home is located on 4 acres just south of Cochrane with expansive morning views to the east and mountain views to the west. We believe it was our comprehensive proposal including an itemized budget and schedule for the scope of work being proposed that ultimately won their trust. Because expectations were well communicated and clear both parties anticipated that the process of working together was going to be a rewarding experience. The renovation saw Align address moving a stair well that unlocked the kitchen’s ability to expand and become more connected to the adjacent living room, dining and entry. The mud room was enlarged into the oversized garage creating an improved connection as the main point of entry for the family. Rustic beam treatments, walnut accents and a beautiful coffee bar bathed in morning light create a warm and inviting space. Not everyday Align gets a trophy from their clients, but in this case it sits proudly in our office. A fun memento from the client expressing their appreciation for all that went into making their home as beautiful they always knew it could be.
